AI Clinical Decision Support — powered by multi-LLM consensus

Available on iOS (TestFlight) & Android

What Is Alpha Medical?

Alpha Medical is a clinical decision support system that combines multiple artificial intelligence models with curated medical knowledge bases to deliver high-confidence diagnostic insights. It is designed for healthcare professionals, medical device developers, and clinical researchers who need reliable, evidence-based guidance they can trust.

Unlike traditional single-model AI tools that can produce confident-sounding but incorrect answers, Alpha Medical uses a proprietary consensus engine that queries three independent AI models simultaneously and synthesizes their responses. When all three models agree, you get a high-confidence answer. When they disagree, the system flags the uncertainty so you know exactly where to apply additional clinical judgment.

Key Features

Consensus Engine

Queries three independent LLMs in parallel and presents a unified response with transparent agreement levels (High, Medium, Low) so you always know how much to trust each answer.

AI Medical Consultation

Real-time conversational interface with a medical diagnostics agent. Supports multi-turn conversations with full citations, clinical references, and rich formatting.

FDA Pathway Advisor

A guided 4-step wizard that recommends the appropriate FDA regulatory pathway (510(k), De Novo, PMA, or Exempt) for your medical device based on classification and risk profile.

Benchmark Tool

Test AI diagnostic accuracy against known clinical cases. Run standardized test sets and measure performance metrics including sensitivity, specificity, and concordance.

Medical Knowledge Base

Around 15,000 curated medical embeddings drawn from public FDA databases, peer-reviewed literature, clinical practice guidelines, and pharmacological references.

Expert Feedback Loop

Clinicians can rate and annotate AI responses. Expert-weighted feedback continuously improves the system, creating a virtuous cycle of accuracy improvement.

App Screens & How You Interact

Dashboard

Your Clinical Home Base

The Dashboard provides an at-a-glance view of your recent consultations, saved cases, and quick-access tools. From here you can start a new consultation, access the FDA Pathway Advisor, or review your benchmark results.

  • Recent Consultations: Tap any previous session to resume or review. Each consultation is timestamped and tagged by specialty area.
  • Quick Launch: Large action buttons let you jump directly into a new AI consultation, start an FDA pathway analysis, or run a benchmark test.
  • Consensus Trend: A summary card shows the average agreement level across your recent consultations so you can track AI reliability over time.
Consultation Screen

AI Medical Consultation

The core consultation interface works like a chat with a highly knowledgeable medical advisor. You describe a clinical scenario or question, and the system responds with evidence-based guidance.

  • Multi-Turn Dialogue: Ask follow-up questions, refine your clinical scenario, or request deeper detail on specific aspects. The AI maintains full context throughout the session.
  • Consensus Indicator: Every response includes a colored badge (green/yellow/red) showing whether the three underlying models agree. Green means high confidence; red means you should exercise additional caution.
  • Citations & References: Responses include inline citations linked to their source material — FDA guidance documents, clinical guidelines, peer-reviewed studies, or pharmacological databases.
  • Rich Formatting: Complex information is presented in structured tables, bullet lists, and highlighted callouts for easy scanning during clinical workflows.
FDA Pathway Advisor

Regulatory Classification Wizard

A step-by-step guided wizard for medical device developers who need to determine the correct FDA submission pathway for their product.

  • Step 1 — Device Description: Enter your device type, intended use, and technology category. The system narrows the relevant product codes.
  • Step 2 — Risk Classification: Answer targeted questions about patient contact, invasiveness, and clinical risk to determine Class I, II, or III.
  • Step 3 — Predicate Analysis: The AI searches for substantially equivalent devices already cleared by the FDA, suggesting potential predicate devices for a 510(k) pathway.
  • Step 4 — Pathway Recommendation: Receive a recommendation (510(k), De Novo, PMA, or Exempt) with a detailed rationale, estimated timeline, and next steps.
Benchmark Tool

AI Accuracy Testing

The Benchmark Tool lets you evaluate how well the consensus engine performs against known clinical cases, helping you understand the system's strengths and limitations for your specialty.

  • Test Case Library: Choose from curated clinical scenarios across multiple specialties, or create your own custom test cases.
  • Run Benchmarks: Execute a test set and see the AI's responses compared against the known correct answer for each case.
  • Performance Metrics: View accuracy rates, sensitivity, specificity, and per-model breakdowns. Identify which types of cases benefit most from the consensus approach.

How It Works

Step 1

Describe Your Clinical Question

Enter a patient scenario, diagnostic question, or device classification inquiry in natural language. No special formatting required.

Step 2

Three Models Analyze Independently

Your question is sent simultaneously to three independent AI models. Each analyzes the query against the medical knowledge base and produces its own response.

Step 3

Consensus Is Synthesized

The consensus engine compares all three responses, identifies areas of agreement and disagreement, and produces a unified answer with a clear confidence indicator.

Step 4

Review, Refine, and Save

Read the response with its citations and confidence level. Ask follow-up questions to go deeper. Save important consultations for future reference.
