AI Verification · Now rolling out
The verification layer for high-stakes documents
Frontier AI models are fluent, fast — and quietly wrong. Attestally checks every verifiable claim in a document against an authoritative registry, corrects what's wrong, flags what can't be verified, and returns it with a full audit trail.
The problem
A model will give you a citation, a case number, a statistic — in the right format, with total confidence — that simply isn't real. In low-stakes writing that's an annoyance. In a legal brief, a medical record, a financial filing or a patent, it's a liability.
A second model checking the first doesn't fix this. You can't outvote a blind spot — if the training data is thin in the same place, every model is confidently wrong in the same way.
Attestally doesn't ask another model whether a claim looks right. It checks the claim against ground truth — an authoritative registry for that domain — and shows its work.
How it works
1
Submit your document, in any format.
2
Every checkable claim is extracted from the text.
3
Each claim is checked against an authoritative registry — not against another model's opinion.
4
Errors are corrected; claims that can't be verified are flagged rather than hidden.
5
You receive the certified document plus a full audit trail of what was checked and how.
✓
A free preview shows the work before you commit — nothing is guessed behind a paywall.
Where it matters
The engine is domain-agnostic: swap the registry, and the same verification gate applies to a new field.
Courts are already sanctioning filings built on fabricated citations. Attestally checks them before they reach a judge.
Claims and references checked against the record, with the audit trail preserved rather than deleted.
Fabricated or mis-attributed references caught before they survive peer review.
Figures and references checked where a wrong number is a liability.
Reduce the attack surface that confidently-wrong output creates.
Registry-backed checking for domains where the source of truth is public and authoritative.
Tested in the open
Attestally's own testing found that when leading models were asked for patent citations, the majority came back fabricated or mis-attributed — real patent numbers attached to the wrong invention. That failure mode is exactly what the verification gate is built to catch, and the results were published rather than buried.
Don't take our word for it — the case for verification rests on independent, peer-reviewed research, not on our marketing.
